As I ran errands and listened to a Natalie Grant Song "Moved" I think that's the name of it anyway. I love riding in car and turning up the music and getting encouragement from Natalie Grants songs. I love her music and songs, they are encouraging and truthful. It's the weekend and time to relax and regain energy for the coming week. I love Fridays and the weekend. It is such a relaxing time and good way to end of the week and begin to start another week. There is a air of relaxation and freedom that seems to come with Friday and the weekend. I like seeing people enjoy their life and get to do somethings they enjoy. Of course there are some that must run errands and buy much needed items that are required for ones life. But overall I hope that most of us remember to enjoy the small moments and create moments to replenish us all.
Just remember life is a journey and it's up to us to make the best of it. Trusting in ourselves and relying on God to lead us in the right direction. I hope everyone has a great weekend and make the most of it.

Weather here in South MS
It's never really a big surprise on any given day in South MS that the weather is a guess at best. As southern's that grow up here it's pretty common to go from regular cool morning to a warmer afternoon and even a shower during the day without much warming. It's not a big complaint among us except for when the occasional storm comes through unexpected.
As 2/10 was just that day, it was projected to have rain and storms that afternoon, which we are used to. As 2 pm and 3 pm comes it can be felt in the air that a storm is brewing. What most of us think is the heavier rain and maybe a tornado somewhere in MS or AL that will be watchful for. ON this day is much more than we imagine. As 4 pm gets here, it is getting darker and winds are wimping through the air. For several of us it's a familiar feel but we are not prepared for the storm that is moving in.
Thankfully the storm chasers are there to alert us to the tornado that is forming and to our appreciation they are communicating it to our local weather. With that being said, most every person in the wake of the storm is preparing as much as possible. So with the darkness coming earlier than normal that evening, most of us are aware to check the weather and see how bad this will be. Now with smart phone apps and computers along with the local tv, it is easily accessible to get the information on the current situation. But even with all that being available the one certain thing is the low bearing down sound of a train is comin is the most warming that gets everyone into a closet or bathtub. Living in the south is a well taught thing to understand "the train is comin" sound is take heed and get into a central location in your home preferred in the bathtub or small area.
Thankfully with the size of this storm, estimated from half a miles to 2/3 a mile wide and a black cyclone to it, it took numerous houses and some businesses in it's path. To say the least this storm make a beaten path through an area right outside of town as Oak Gove, and then into the City of Hattiesburg, taking along it's way some of the local University USM, and then on to the downtown of Hattiesburg, and then into the next town of Petal and out into it's countryside. With several people I know going through it, it was a quick and loud experience. Thankfully with that being said no fatalities for this storm. A few people were sent to the hospital and a few suffered some injuries but thankfully no death to anyone that is known.
Even with this strong tornado coming through it has been amazing to see the wealth of people stepping up to volunteer and assist numerous home owners and displaced people. The local volunteers along with organizations that come to aid is in no least remarkable. I am blessed to see this first hand and see the coverage of numerous churches, people, volunteer groups step up to provide such needed help. With the organization of volunteers and people that step up our community begins to look a little more normal.
Such a blessing to see mankind do the right thing and do for neighbors or people they see in need. So we may not can see or control the weather but now with this experience we can step forward and help one another and assist the needy. It is such a great feeling to be from the south and still have people willing to step up and help..
